Individual Therapy
Individual therapy provides one-on-one support for adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, past trauma, relationship concerns, major transitions, or ongoing stress. Sessions offer space to talk through personal concerns, examine patterns that may be affecting daily functioning, and work through challenges at a pace appropriate for the individual. Services are available to adults across California, including those who prefer telehealth sessions.
How It Works
Individual therapy may include:
- Exploring personal concerns, stressors, and emotional patterns
- Processing past trauma and difficult experiences
- Developing strategies for managing anxiety and depression
- Examining thoughts, behaviors, and relationship patterns
- Building healthier coping strategies for daily challenges
- Identifying personal strengths and areas for continued self-reflection
What to Expect
Sessions are conducted individually and focus on the concerns the client brings to therapy, with telehealth also available as a virtual option. The therapist and client work through relevant issues using an approach suited to the client’s circumstances, which may include supportive, client-centered, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, motivational interviewing, humanistic, or solution-focused techniques. As sessions continue, areas of focus may be adjusted as new concerns arise or circumstances change.
